The history of Ace-Roules started with the idea to combine the challenges of Roulette, a French favorite with a frontier game called Faro that uses a deck of playing cards.
Ace-Roules uses the same basic concept for both games
- a player guessing the next unknown.
In Roulette, the player guesses where the ball will land.
In Faro, the player guesses the next card drawn from the deck.
Ace-Roules combines the best of both!
Why Ace-Roules?
Aces do not represent any color, suit, even or odd bet. All Aces are green and have a card value of zero (0) in the game much like the zeros in Roulette. The other 48 cards ( 4 Aces from the 52 cards in the deck) are normal cards. Sorry, there are no Jokers!
The Ace logo may be bet at any time -- as a single bet or in combination with other bets. If the Ace is bet and an Ace is dealt, the winning payoff is 11 times the bet.
However, all other bets placed when the Ace is dealt are lost. In other words, the Ace clears all other bets except itself.
Thus the name of the game, Ace-Roules!
